Refund Policy
Not happy? Email us within 14 days of paying and we'll refund you. You don't have to explain yourself. Cancel any time and you keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
1. Read before you buy
Every case file has a substantial free preview, the first three parts, the timeline and the full source list. That's deliberate. You should be able to judge the writing before paying anything, so nobody buys blind.
2. 14-day refund
If Insider access isn't what you expected, email [contact address pending] within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. No form, no interrogation.
This applies to your first payment. For a renewal, see below.
3. Cancelling a subscription
- Cancel at any time through your Gumroad receipt or account.
- Cancelling stops future billing. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, we don't cut you off early.
- We don't automatically refund part-used months, but see the next section.
4. Renewals you didn't mean to pay
If a subscription renewed and you'd genuinely forgotten about it, tell us within 14 days of that renewal and we'll refund it, provided you haven't downloaded a substantial amount of new content in that period. We'd rather refund an honest mistake than keep money from someone who didn't want to spend it.
5. When we may decline
We may refuse a refund where:
- the request comes well after the 14-day window;
- the account has downloaded a large share of the archive and then requested a refund, repeatedly, or in a pattern suggesting the intent was to take the content and reverse the payment;
- the account was suspended for breaching the Terms of Service, such as redistributing paid files.
We will always tell you why.
6. How the money comes back
Payments are processed by Gumroad as merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Gumroad to your original payment method. Once approved it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any tax or VAT charged is refunded with it.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have by law. Consumers in the EU and UK have a statutory right to cancel distance purchases, and consumer protection law in your country may give you more than this policy offers, where it does, that law wins.
8. If something is broken
If you paid and can't get access, a licence that won't link, a login that fails, that's our problem to fix, not a refund question. Email us and we'll sort it out. If we can't, you get your money back regardless of how long it's been.
9. Contact
All refund requests: [contact address pending]. Include the email address you paid with so we can find the purchase.
